Visiting hours at University Hospital Vienna are subject to the hospital management`s discretion.
They depend on several factors and may change at short notice. We are committed to supporting all of our patients' relatives and friends to the fullest extent possible and try to ensure that we are available to provide information.
Unless otherwise advertised (under guidelines issued by University Hospital Vienna due to e.g. the pandemic ), visiting hours for Intensive Care Unit 13i2 are from 14:30 to 17:00 and 19:30 to 21:00 daily.
To make visiting times as pleasant as possible for you and your relative, please note the following:
- In the interests of patient wellbeing, no more than two relatives should visit a patient at the same time.
- Before entering the ward, it is important to carry out thorough hand hygiene to protect the patients (for details of proper handwashing procedures, see the washbasin in the entrance area).
- Please switch your smartphone/tablet/notebook or other devices to flight mode or turn them off entirely, as the electrical signals can interfere with medical devices.
Please note that you may need to wait during visiting hours due to nursing or medical measures. In such an event, you are kindly asked to wait in the waiting room at reception.
Thank you for your understanding.
The doctor on duty will be able to provide you with information during visiting hours.
Do not hesitate to ask if there is anything you do not understand/if you require further clarification.
We are only allowed to provide information by telephone to close relatives who are already personally known to us.
