! Checklist / important informationen for your visit at 18K !
Patients will either be referred through the outpatient clinic or from the daily inpatient clinic. On arrival at 18K please remember to register first at the medical base, where you will receive the necessary informations regarding administration and the day's routine during your therapy.
The team at 18K is familiar with your medical history, as they will be briefed in advance to your therapy.
At our inpatient day clinic, our patients are cared for by a team of specialist doctors, assistant doctors and specially trained nursing staff. Patients have the option to chose between beds or armchairs, when available. All patients who require the administration of cytostatic chemotherapy, antibody therapies or blood products are treated here. Pleural (lung fluid) and ascites (abdominal fluid) punctures are also carried out here, as are all other infusion therapies required.
