Adrian Piliponsky
Center for Immunity and Immunotherapies, Seattle Children's Research InstituteAdrian Piliponsky received his PhD in Pharmacy and Immunology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. After a PostDoc with Stephen Galli at Stanford University, Adrian became principal investigator at the Center for Immunity and Immunotherapies at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute, and Professor of Pediatrics, Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. The Piliponsky lab aims to dissect mast cell biology to understand mast cell contribution to health and disease. Adrian’s group also runs active research programs to explore new approaches for immunomodulation of mast cells and myeloid cells in the context of allergic disease and innate immunity against viral and bacterial infections.
