Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Anne Dudeck
Otto-von-Guericke-UniversityAnne Dudeck obtained a diploma in biochemistry from the University of Leipzig and completed her PhD in immunology at its medical faculty. During her postdoctoral positions at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Technische Universität Dresden, she specialised in mast cell biology and their in vivo function in allergic diseases. Since 2016, she has been a W2 Professor at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, heading the Immunoregulation Research Group at the Institute of Clinical Immunology and Cell Therapy. Her group studies mast cell communication with tissue-resident and infiltrating cells, and its role in homeostasis and inflammation, particularly using transgenic mouse models targeting mast cells and sophisticated imaging techniques.
